At ADS Pet Store, we focus on practical and durable cat trees that suit real indoor homes. Our collection includes compact options for smaller spaces, taller climbing structures for active cats, and wider, more stable designs for larger cats such as Ragdolls, Maine Coons, British Shorthairs, and other heavier breeds.

Shop Cat Trees by Style

  • Tall cat trees – ideal for cats that enjoy climbing, jumping, and resting at height.
  • Cat towers – multi-level designs with platforms, posts, and resting areas.
  • Cat trees with scratching posts – help redirect scratching away from sofas and carpets.
  • Cat trees with beds or hammocks – comfortable options for cats that love lounging.
  • Compact cat trees – suitable for apartments, smaller rooms, or kittens.
  • Large cat trees – wider, stronger structures for bigger cats or multi-cat households.

Why Do Indoor Cats Need a Cat Tree?

Indoor cats still need opportunities to climb, scratch, stretch, hide, and observe their surroundings. A cat climbing tree creates vertical space inside the home, which can help cats feel more secure and mentally stimulated. It also gives them a place to release energy, sharpen claws, and rest without taking over furniture.

For homes with more than one cat, a multi-level cat tower can also provide separate resting zones, helping reduce competition for space. Cats that enjoy looking outside may especially benefit from a cat tree placed near a window.

Choosing the Right Cat Tree

When choosing a cat tree, consider your cat’s size, weight, age, and personality. Active cats may prefer taller designs with multiple levels, while older cats may need lower platforms that are easier to access. Large cats usually need stronger, wider, and more stable structures, especially breeds like Ragdolls and Maine Coons.

If your cat scratches furniture, choose a design with sisal scratching posts or wide scratching surfaces. If your cat prefers quiet resting spots, look for enclosed cubbies, padded platforms, or soft beds.

FAQs About Cat Trees

What size cat tree should I choose?

The best cat tree size depends on your cat’s weight, activity level, and available space. Kittens and smaller cats may suit compact designs, while larger cats usually need wider platforms, stronger posts, and a more stable base.

Are cat trees good for indoor cats?

Yes. Cat trees are especially useful for indoor cats because they provide climbing space, scratching surfaces, resting platforms, and mental stimulation inside the home.

What cat tree is best for large cats?

Large cats such as Ragdolls, Maine Coons, and British Shorthairs usually need a large cat tree with a strong base, wide platforms, thick posts, and stable construction to support their size and movement.

Do cat trees stop cats scratching furniture?

A cat tree with scratching posts can help redirect scratching behaviour away from sofas, carpets, and other furniture. For best results, place the cat tree near areas your cat already likes to scratch.

Where should I place a cat tree?

Many cats enjoy a cat climbing tree placed near a window, living area, or quiet corner. Choose a flat surface and avoid unstable flooring so the structure stays secure during climbing and jumping.

ADS PET - Refrigerated Delivery to select VIC Area ONLY*

This collection is available with refrigerated delivery to selected VIC areas. We carefully transport frozen and fresh pet food from our Moorabbin warehouse to ensure quality and freshness during delivery.

VIC Refrigerated Delivery FAQs

How are frozen pet foods kept cold during delivery?

Orders are packed using insulated thermal bags and ice packs to help maintain safe temperatures during transport.

Frozen raw food deliveries are transported under chilled cold-chain conditions (0–5°C) rather than deep-freeze conditions (-18°C). Refrigerated delivery vehicles are designed to maintain stable low temperatures suitable for raw food transport, particularly during warmer weather.

Because products are delivered in chilled conditions, food may occasionally soften slightly or partially thaw, especially around the outer edges. This can sometimes cause the food to feel softer than expected or show moisture when pressure is applied.

Importantly, the product remains within safe food-grade temperature ranges throughout transport. Upon receiving your order, you can place the patties directly back into the freezer to re-freeze without any safety concerns.

Which areas in VIC are eligible for refrigerated delivery?

Refrigerated delivery is available to selected areas across Victoria. Eligibility depends on postcode.
