Why Ongoing Parasite Prevention Matters

Fleas and worms are common parasites that may affect both indoor and outdoor cats. Regular parasite prevention may help reduce discomfort, skin irritation and parasite-related health issues while supporting your cat’s everyday wellbeing.

Many cat owners choose monthly flea and worming products to help maintain year-round protection and simplify their pet care routine.

Our Cat Flea & Worming Collection Includes

  • Spot-On Flea Treatments – easy topical solutions for regular parasite prevention
  • Cat Worming Tablets – treatments for intestinal worm control
  • Monthly Parasite Prevention – convenient ongoing protection options
  • Kitten Flea & Worming Products – suitable options for younger cats depending on age and weight
  • Broad-Spectrum Treatments – products designed to target multiple common parasites
  • Top Veterinary Brands – including Moxiclear, Drontal and more

Choosing the Right Flea & Worming Product

The best parasite treatment depends on your cat’s age, weight, lifestyle and parasite risk. Some owners prefer spot-on treatments for convenience, while others choose tablets depending on their cat’s feeding habits and treatment preferences.

Always read the product instructions carefully and select a treatment suitable for your cat’s species and weight range.

Common Signs of Fleas or Worms in Cats

Cats affected by parasites may show signs such as scratching, skin irritation, visible fleas, digestive upset or changes in coat condition. Some parasites may not always show obvious symptoms, which is why many owners maintain regular preventative treatment schedules.

Cat Flea & Worming FAQs

How often should I treat my cat for fleas and worms?

Many flea and worming products are applied monthly, although treatment schedules may vary depending on the product and your cat’s lifestyle.

Do indoor cats still need flea and worming treatment?

Yes. Indoor cats may still be exposed to fleas or parasites carried into the home environment, so ongoing prevention is commonly recommended.

What is the difference between spot-on and tablet treatments?

Spot-on treatments are applied to the skin, while tablets are given orally. Both formats are commonly used depending on the product and owner preference.

Can kittens use flea and worming products?

Some products are suitable for kittens above a certain age and weight. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions before use.

Do flea treatments also treat worms?

Some parasite prevention products provide both flea and worm protection, while others only target specific parasites. Always check the product label for coverage details.

ADS PET - Refrigerated Delivery to select VIC Area ONLY*

This collection is available with refrigerated delivery to selected VIC areas. We carefully transport frozen and fresh pet food from our Moorabbin warehouse to ensure quality and freshness during delivery.

VIC Refrigerated Delivery FAQs

How are frozen pet foods kept cold during delivery?

Orders are packed using insulated thermal bags and ice packs to help maintain safe temperatures during transport.

Frozen raw food deliveries are transported under chilled cold-chain conditions (0–5°C) rather than deep-freeze conditions (-18°C). Refrigerated delivery vehicles are designed to maintain stable low temperatures suitable for raw food transport, particularly during warmer weather.

Because products are delivered in chilled conditions, food may occasionally soften slightly or partially thaw, especially around the outer edges. This can sometimes cause the food to feel softer than expected or show moisture when pressure is applied.

Importantly, the product remains within safe food-grade temperature ranges throughout transport. Upon receiving your order, you can place the patties directly back into the freezer to re-freeze without any safety concerns.

Which areas in VIC are eligible for refrigerated delivery?

Refrigerated delivery is available to selected areas across Victoria. Eligibility depends on postcode.
