What should you look for?

- Prebiotic fibre to support gut bacteria and stool quality.
- Omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids for skin and coat.
- No sudden changes: consistency matters as much as the recipe.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best food for a dog with a sensitive stomach?
There is no single best food. Look for highly digestible protein and added fibre, change food slowly and give each new diet a few weeks unless symptoms get worse.
How long does it take to see results?
Stool quality often settles within 2–4 weeks of a gradual switch. Skin and coat changes can take 6–8 weeks.
Should I try a single-protein diet?
It can help if a food sensitivity is suspected. A vet-guided elimination trial is the most reliable way to identify a trigger.
When is an upset stomach an emergency?
Repeated vomiting, a swollen belly, blood in vomit or faeces, or a dog that is weak or not eating needs urgent vet care.
