Since September 2022, we are happy to announce that our local delivery service now covers more Melbourne metro areas.

If you are NOT in our same-day delivery service area, ADS Local Delivery will be a great option!

  • Free delivery for orders over $79.
  • For orders under $79, a $15 delivery fee applies.
  • Free shipping is also available for most metro areas on orders over $49 (via courier services).

Important Notes

  • ADS Local Delivery is free for orders over $79.
  • Orders under $79 incur a $15 fee.
  • Authority to Leave (ATL) will be applied with same-day delivery unless otherwise specified.
  • During peak times, orders may arrive the next day. Customers will be notified via email or SMS if this occurs.
  • No ADS Local Delivery on Sundays & Monday & Public Holidays.
  • Failed Deliveries & Cancellations: If a parcel cannot be delivered and the order needs to be cancelled, a $10 handling fee will be deducted.

Authority to Leave (ATL)

You may request ATL at checkout by leaving a note (e.g. “Please leave order if not home”). ⚠️ Please note: If a parcel is left unattended and goes missing after being marked as delivered, ADS cannot provide further assistance. The risk is borne by the customer.

A $15 re-delivery or cancellation fee applies if delivery fails due to:

  • Incorrect address
  • Missed driver call
  • No safe ATL location (e.g. no reception, apartment mailroom issues, etc.)
  • Other factors preventing successful delivery

How ADS Local Delivery Works

  1. Shop online – Browse and select your favourite products.
  2. Add to cart – Add the items to your shopping cart.
  3. Check postcode & pay – Enter your postcode to confirm eligibility. Once confirmed, Melbourne metro customers can select the best delivery date. (Delivery dates may vary depending on area and stock availability.)
  4. Order confirmation – You will receive an email confirming your order, followed by another once it is picked up. To follow distancing rules, drivers will leave orders in a safe place.
  5. Track your order – Once out for delivery, you’ll receive SMS "GO PEOPLE" & email notifications with a tracking link, showing driver location and estimated delivery time.

What areas are covered by ADS Local Delivery?

We currently cover select suburbs in Rowville (Wed & Fri), Preston (Wed & Fri), Footscray (Thurs), and Frankston (Thurs & Sat). Please refer to the postcode list above to confirm your area.

What are the delivery fees?

ADS Local Delivery is free for orders over $79. Orders under $79 incur a $15 delivery fee. Or free shipping is also available for most metro areas on orders over $49 via courier services.

Do you deliver to PO Boxes, Parcel Lockers, or Parcel Collect?

No. ADS Local Delivery does not deliver to PO Boxes, Parcel Lockers, or Parcel Collect or any Auspost service addresses. Please provide a valid residential or business street address at checkout.

Can I request Authority to Leave (ATL)?

What happens if delivery fails?

If a delivery fails due to incorrect address, missed driver call, no safe ATL location, or any other reason preventing successful delivery, a $15 re-delivery or cancellation fee will be applied or deducted.

Are there days when local delivery is not available?

Yes. ADS Local Delivery is not available on Sundays, Mondays, and Public Holidays.

How will I know when my order is arriving?

You’ll receive SMS updates from “GO PEOPLE” and an email with a live tracking link, showing the driver’s location and estimated arrival time.
